Empowering Communities through Education & Youth Potential
The Organization for Community Development (OCODE) is a Tanzanian national grassroots non-governmental organization committed to advancing quality inclusive education that embraces 21st century competences, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods. Founded in 1999 and officially registered in 2003, OCODE works in close partnership with communities, local government authorities, and like-minded development partners to strengthen national systems and expand opportunities for vulnerable children, youth, and communities.
OCODE’s work began in Dar es Salaam and has expanded to the Pwani Region, with headways which stretch nationally through policy advocacy interventions.
