Pili’s Path
Before joining OCODE’s Community Managed Savings Group (CMSG), Pili faced significant financial challenges. She ran a small business using borrowed materials, cooking and selling goods, then repaying loans before borrowing again, which made sustaining her livelihood difficult. After joining the groups, Pili borrowed TZS 100,000 from her group, which enabled her to purchase all the necessary materials and establish a stable business. She now efficiently manages her enterprise, earns consistent profits, contributes to weekly group savings, and supports her children and household with greater security.
